For the month of February, I will be offering a four week session of three weekly classes, beginning February 3rd, and running through to February 28th. 

Throughout this session we will learn, or re-learn functional movements, where we will (re)discover stability, balance, deep strength and learn to access our breath as an anchor.

You can anticipate fun, creative ways to explore your body's incredible capabilities in a way that is specific to your needs and abilities. There will be many accommodations, prop options and progressions, so each class can explore a new and interesting way to move. Movements should not stay static, because our bodies definitely are not.

My dream for your body throughout this series is to feel a deeper sense of your body, how it moves, how it wants to move, and how you can move through life with a greater sense of ease and safety! 

The nitty gritty

Schedule
Mondays 7-8 pm  (February 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th)
Wednesdays 12-1pm (February 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th)
Fridays 7:30-8:30 am (February 7th, 14th, 28th)
Sunday 10 am (February 16th) 

*Please note, each class will be recorded, and you will receive a recording of the class, within an hour of its completion, to re-visit, or do at your own pace. They will stay accessible for 72 hours

** I will send an e-mail on the Monday morning of each week with a reminder of the schedule with corresponding links, and playlists.


Props (Optional):

I love props, but even more than props I love accessibility! SO, props are not necessary - but some props I may offer as a tool in these classes include:

Squish Balls - other alternatives for this include a balled up sweater, a yoga block, cushion, rolled up towel 

Yoga Block - A thick textbook, pile of heavy books, small step stool, magazines, block of wood

Hand weights - Ankle weights, canned food, water bottles (filled with water), hacky sacks, cans of soda water, 

* I personally love weighted toning balls, but regular hand weights under 3 lbs work too!

Again - I repeat, these are by NO means necessary, nor do they make your opportunities with movement "better" or "harder" just different :)

BUT If I had to pick one, it would always and forever be the squish ball :)

 

Modifications / Needs

I love making this accessible for all! Once you've confirmed interest, I'll send over my intake form, to give you an opportunity to share where you're at, and what, if any, needs you have that I should know about. This can be pregnancy, post-injury, disability, current injury, etc. I will do anything I can to make these classes work for you, so please don't be shy - the more I know, the more I can do to make these classes supportive for you.

 

Pricing
In the name of accessibility, I offer this as a sliding scale opportunity. Note that most in-studio classes are $20-35/class
